    CryptoPunks is a non-fungible token (NFT) collection on the Ethereum blockchain. CryptoPunks are commonly credited with starting the NFT craze of 2021, along with other early projects including CryptoKitties and Bored Ape Yacht Club.
    Being one of the early pioneers in the NFT space, CryptoPunks is Ethereum’s oldest NFT project which has turned into sort of a cult-like culture.
    In its initial days, CryptoPunks was even handed out for free. About 20-30 punks were claimed following the launch. It was until a week later, an article by Mashable (https://mashable.com/article/cryptopunks-ethereum-art-collectibles) helped propel and within hours every punk was gone. Several punk owners feel that holding a portion of the CryptoPunks’ finite quantity has become a “digital flex” in its own right as values have risen, especially when used as an avatar on social networking platforms. Outside of the blockchain industry, this has attracted a slew of affluent purchasers, including YouTuber Logan Paul.

    Larva Labs is unlikely to produce any more CryptoPunks, given their limited availability and status as one of the oldest NFTs on the market.     Was Gary Vee the cause of the explosion? When Gary Vee released an Instagram video promoting the NFT collection for its “fire art” and immense potential, the trend that led up to the large sale took off. As a result, we’ve seen the trading of World of Women shot up from roughly around 3 Eth to 20 Eth, it has retracted to trading around 10 Eth floor price since then.

After its release, CloneX exploded into Opensea and is now ranked 6 as of Feb 2022.
    The Clone X Project by RTFKT had 20,000 avatars ready to mint. The first 10,000 will be reserved for current RTKFT NFT holders in a pre-sale, with the remaining 10,000 accessible in a public sale.
    While 20,000 may appear to be a large number in comparison to previous NFT mints, the team has said that they intended to reach out to those outside of the NFT community as well.

    The project was launched by Wede and Meseum of Toys. Karafuru NFTs is a 5,555-piece collection of Japanese cartoon art. In Japanese, the word karafuru means “bright.” The artist is WD Willy, an Indonesian illustrator. This series was also made in collaboration with the Museum of Toys, an Indonesian designer toy museum. We know that the karafuru world will include 12 official characters. With over 1000 characteristic combinations to choose from, your character will be really one-of-a-kind.
    Since its arrival, it has expanded its social reach to over 68,000 followers on Twitter and its Discord server has over 70,000 members.

    While the whole team is anonymous, Arnold Tsang joins the team and is relatively well known as a conceptual artist. “The dream is for Azuki to have such big IP (intellectual property) that there’s an animated series, maybe even games and all kinds of merch,’’ Tsang says. Tsang adds that he chose to make his identity public “as a pledge of trust. This is who I am, this is what I’ve done. Put your trust in me that I’m not going to run away after making money and just go off to a deserted island.”
    Azuki started off already having its fans based on the topics revolving around the artwork. There is also a surge of demand for anime art which is lacking in the NFT space. Tsang’s theory: Azukis capture “the rebellious culture of skateboarders,” which connects well with those into crypto and NFTs.

    Doodles is a collection of 10,000 generative NFTs created by Evan Keast, Scott Martin, and Jordan Castro. Keast and Castro were already well-known in the NFT world before Doodles, having helped build the iconic NFT project CryptoKitties in 2017.
    During the project’s launch, Doodles did something that appeared to have never been done before by a PFP initiative. The Doodles team shuttered the Discord around a month before the project went online for minting, when membership counts had reached little over 1,000. This made it such that no new members could join, giving the project’s community an added layer of exclusivity.

    Every Doodles owner has a say in what that DAO does, and the entire Doodles ecosystem is essentially one DAO. Keast outlined the DoodleDAO treasury’s operation early on, claiming that 1 Doodle equals 1 vote in any and all DoodleBank decisions.

    While we know Phanta Bear as Jay Chou’s NFT, Ezek released a statement stating that Jay Chou did not launch the project. But it certainly got a good amount of exposure and when fans knew about Jay Chou’s NFT, it was already snapped up upon release. “Jay Chou only received the ‘Phanta Bear’ NFT gift from PHANTACi, which was also used for the promotion of the product,” Jaywell Music, which belongs to Jay Chou, issued an urgent statement, indicating that the NFT was not launched by Jay Chou himself and that he did not earn a dime, “Jay Chou only received the ‘Phanta Bear’ NFT gift from PHANTACi, which was also used for the I am pleased with the sale’s outcome, but Jay Chou was not involved in the design or management of this economic activity, and he has not profited, therefore I must explain.” (source: CoinYuppie).
    Phanta Bear also has a great utility use case for its NFT. Owners of NFT will become members of the Ezek Club and will be able to use their NFT tickets to access VR/XR virtual concerts built with cutting-edge technology, as well as associated virtual properties in the future.
