Looking for the best AI tools for marketing? I’ve got you covered.
These days AI has saturated the marketing landscape, with 95% of respondents in a HubSpot survey saying that using AI has helped them become more efficient and productive in their role.
It’s little wonder that the use of AI in the marketing industry is growing all the time – just look at how much the market is growing:

But if you think AI marketing tools start and end with ChatGPT – you’re in for a shock. ChatGPT might be the Big Daddy in the AI world right now, but there are dozens of other great tools out there that can help turbocharge your marketing strategy in more ways than you can imagine.
If you want to shake things up with your strategy, experimenting with a wide range of tools for everything from customer and competitor analysis to social media, is the way to go.
So, how do you know which tools are the best? We’re going to tell you. This is our guide to the best AI tools for marketing, based on the software we use ourselves at Crowdcreate.
Understanding AI Marketing Tools: A Quick Primer
I won’t insult your intelligence by assuming you don’t know what an AI marketing tool is. We all know AI marketing tools are software that use artificial intelligence to help optimize, improve, and create marketing strategies, content or assets.
However, the breadth of these tools has certainly changed over the years. A few years ago, lists of the best AI tools for marketing would have been filled with references to analytical platforms, and keyword research tools like SEMRush (still a great AI tool, by the way).
Now we have AI marketing tools that can do research for us into our competitors and customers, like Google Gemini and ChatGPT.

We’ve got AI tools for designing videos, converting content into different formats, analyzing customer sentiment, and creating dynamic website experiences – the list is endless.
I’m going to cover something for every use case in this guide – including a few you might not have thought of – so buckle up.
The Benefits of Using AI Tools for Marketing
Just as the nature of AI tools for marketing consultants and experts have evolved, so too have the benefits these solutions can offer. Ever since OpenAI dropped ChatGPT like a bombshell in November 2022, the marketing landscape has been buzzing, and it’s no wonder!
The platform had millions of users within weeks – not just everyday people, but marketing experts, consultants, and sales specialists too.
ChatGPT ignited the flame for AI in marketing, but it’s been growing ever-since. Now if you’re not using AI in marketing, you’re missing out on turbocharged efficiency, productivity, and creativity.
I use AI in marketing every day (as do my team members at Crowdcreate), to surface more valuable information from data, optimize content, make marketing assets stretch further, and cut down on those petty repetitive tasks that usually drain my time.
That doesn’t mean I use AI to write everything for me. Great marketing still requires a human touch. But AI has definitely become a trusty sidekick for me, and many others in recent years. It’s increasing marketing ROI, improving speed and efficiency, and enhancing customer experiences at scale – what’s not to like?
Even better – AI actually helps marketers develop new skills. If I don’t know how to do something – like convert a quote from a blog post into an image I can use to promote it on social media (graphic design isn’t my forte), AI can do it for me – or show me which tools to use.

The Best AI Marketing Tools for Consultants
Ok, so let’s get to the meat of this article – the list of the best AI tools for marketing consultants to use this year (and beyond). This list is based on my own personal preferences and experiences using AI in my everyday work – as well as the input I’ve gathered from the Crowdcreate team – so it’s a bit subjective. But don’t worry – I’ve done my research too.
I’ve checked out some reviews from other customers across the web to make sure every tool I recommend here is just as loved by other marketing experts as it is by me.
1. ChatGPT: The Most Holistic Marketing Tool

Price: Free plan with paid plans starting at $20 per month.
Best for: All around holistic marketing support
Ok, I know I said I was going to go beyond ChatGPT with this guide, but it would be ridiculous not to mention ChatGPT on this list – particularly when you can use it for so many different things.
ChatGPT changed the world of marketing forever when it launched in 2022, and it’s getting more effective all the time. If you’re lucky enough to have a premium account, you can even tap into the latest GPT from OpenAI, GPT-4o, which gives you access to multimodal features.
ChatGPT can help you brainstorm ideas, learn about your target market, analyze competing blog posts, optimize content for the search engines – the list goes on.
There are even dedicated plugins for ChatGPT like “Marketing GPT” which helps you with specific tasks like campaign planning and marketing strategizing.
You can get started with ChatGPT for free, and use it for a huge range of marketing tasks and strategies. With GPT-4o, you can even upload files and documents into ChatGPT to add to your marketing content, and improve your research.
2. Jasper: best AI tool for Marketing Copy

Price: Starts at $39 per month
Best for: Copywriting
Next, we come to Jasper AI – the reigning champion of AI copywriting tools! Originally known as Jarvis (yep, inspired by Tony Stark’s assistant), I’m a huge fan of this tool personally, and regularly use it to create guidelines and briefs for content.
Jasper has been around for a while now, and it’s getting better all the time. You can now use Jasper to create and edit images and photos at scale, design a brand voice for your marketing campaigns, create content, and even build your own knowledge base.
Like most AI writing tools, Jasper isn’t perfect. Sometimes it does generate pretty generic copy that needs a little human polish. Still, it gives you a great starting point if you want to cut down on the time involved in actually creating assets like blogs and articles.
Oh – and did I mention, Jasper can optimize your content for the search engines too – so you can quickly identify when and where to use those all-important keywords and links.
3. Campaign Assistant: Best Free Asset Creator

Pricing: Free
Best for: Creating free marketing assets
HubSpot has certainly proven itself to be an AI powerhouse lately, infusing generative AI into virtually all of its products. If you’re worried about the price of signing up for something like the HubSpot marketing hub though – there is an alternative.
Campaign Assistant is a handy, free-to-use tool that can help you create various types of marketing assets in seconds. You can use it to generate email content, Google ad copy, and even fine-tune and personalize your content to different audiences.
Yes – it’s a little more basic than some of the other best AI tools for marketing consultants I’m going to mention here, but it’s a great starting point. Plus, it integrates with HubSpot, so if you’re using HubSpot already, you can set up a new landing page or marketing email, complete with AI-generated copy, in just a couple of clicks.
4. Surfer SEO: Best for Content Optimization

Pricing: Starting at $99 per month
Best for: Writing and optimizing content
Surfer SEO is one of the first AI marketing tools I ever used – even before I started experimenting with ChatGPT. In the past, I mostly relied on this tool to help me boost the search engine ranking potential of all the content I created for different brands.
Surfer is great at scoring your content in real-time, helping you create outlines, and even monitoring the number of headings, paragraphs, and keywords you use in copy. Now, SurferSEO comes with a new AI feature built-in: Surfy.
This basically gives you an all-in-one writing assistant that can edit, rephrase, or refine any articles in seconds- based on your suggestions. The tool can insert internal links from your website into your content automatically, and even “humanize” content for you. I know, it sounds crazy – imagine relying on AI to make your content sound more human?
Plus, Surfer seamlessly integrates with other popular tools like Jasper, WordPress, and Google Docs, making it a breeze to incorporate into your existing workflow.
5. Lexica Art: Best for Blog Thumbnails

Pricing: Free plans, with paid plans starting at $24 per month
Best for: Easily generating artwork
I know a lot of people wax lyrical about all the benefits of Midjourney for creating art – but in my opinion, it’s a bit difficult to use – at least at first. If you’re looking for something a little simpler that can still generate highly realistic-looking and unique images, Lexica is a great choice.
I’ve used this platform quite a few times when I’ve needed a little help whipping up thumbnails and images for blogs. The best part? You can customize prompts and save them, ensuring all the images align perfectly with your brand guidelines. It’s no wonder some brands are even leveraging Lexica for their social media posts!
If you’re tired of the same old stock images for your blog thumbnails, this tool is a must-try. Say goodbye to cookie-cutter visuals and hello to stunning, unique graphics that truly represent your brand!
6. Originality AI: Best for AI Detection

Pricing: Pricing starts at $60
Best for: Checking for human-led content
There are a lot of reasons why relying too much on AI to create content for you is a bad idea. Most AI-generated content is generic, and far too similar to what else is out there on the internet. Plus, if your content seems too “robotic”, you boost your chances of getting your website knocked down the search engine result pages – not great.
Having a tool you can use to check whether content sounds like it was written by a bot or not – can help. After all, even if you don’t use AI to create entire articles, your pieces can sometimes end up sounding less human than you’d like – which can lead to problems.
Originality AI is great at scanning your content and identifying which areas seem less human. I should note though, I’d take the results you get with a pinch of salt. This tool can easily mistake human content for being AI generated too.
7. Writer: Best AI Tool for Marketing Teams

Pricing: Starting at $18 per user, per month
Best for: Collaborating on marketing projects
You have to give Writer props for managing to snag such a high value URL before generative AI really even took off. But it’s not just the company’s name that’s impressive – the toolkit is excellent too. Basically, Writer is a collaborative efficiency tool, that turbocharges the features of a traditional text editor, and gives you access to a huge range of pre-built apps and capabilities.
This platform can automatically correct spelling and grammar mistakes for teams as they write, check for clarity, and more. Plus, it can help to direct you towards relevant research and insights in your industry while you’re producing content.
Part of what makes this platform so excellent is how customizable it is. You can even create your own AI apps, infused with brand data and specific prompts, so you can consistently generate fantastic content and marketing assets.
Plus, Writer adheres to all of the top compliance, privacy and security laws, so you have less to worry about when you’re infusing it into your workflows.
8. Notion AI: Ideal for Productivity

Pricing: Starting at $10 per month
Best for: Productivity boosting
Notion is a productivity boosting tool I was using long before the generative AI hype train starting gaining speed. It’s a great all-in-one platform for organizing data, sharing information, and creating and managing marketing plans.
Notion AI takes the functionality of this platform to the next level. Basically, it gives you a personal assistant within your project management tool that can answer questions about your content, draft copy, brainstorm ideas, and even fill out tables automatically.
Although you can try this tool out for free if you already have a Notion account, you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan to remove the limitations. The good news is that if you do cough up the cash, you’ll get a great experience, and end-to-end protection for your data.
9. Fullstory: Best for Digital Experiences

Pricing: Pricing on request
Best for: Optimizing customer journeys
Fullstory is such a cool and helpful AI tool for marketers that I’m surprised I don’t see more people raving about it all the time. This platform empowers companies with AI tools that help them to map comprehensive customer journeys, and optimize every step on the path to purchase.
With Fullstory, you can track every cursor move of a customer on your website, and watch real-time replays of what people do when they visit your website. The platform even gives you insights into what kind of “intent” stage customers might be in at any given time.
What makes Fullstory really neat is the fact that you can create and build your own predictive AI models to infuse into your customer journey. These models can be synced with your own proprietary data, so Fullstory actually learns from your customers.
10. Grammarly: Best for Content Editing

Pricing: Free plan with paid plans starting at $12 per month
Best for: Content editing
Full disclosure – I’m a huge Grammarly fan. I’ve been using this tool for years now to help me improve my writing skills. These days, I use Grammarly for everything from writing cold emails, to creating blog posts, and optimizing articles like this one.
Before Grammarly, I used Hemingway, which has it’s own AI features – but tends to make more assumptions about how you should style your content.
Grammarly’s AI tools make optimizing everything you write easier than ever. You can use it to adapt your content to a specific audience and their tone of voice, compose new content, or rewrite something you’ve already produced.
Even better, Grammarly integrates with a bunch of different apps, so you can use it on your browser, via Word, on Facebook, in Gmail, and so on. If like me – you find proofreading your own content to be headache inducing, Grammarly is the tool for you.
11. Chatfuel: Best for Creating Chatbots

Pricing: Starting at $19.99 per month
Best for: Creating chatbots
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, chatbots are here to stay. The good news is that could actually be a good thing for marketing consultants and experts. Chatbots give you a fantastic way to connect with and engage customers throughout the buyer journey. Whether you just need to answer common customer questions, or suggest personalized product recommendations, chatbots have you covered.
Chatfuel is one of my favorite tools for creating chatbots customized to a range of marketing use cases. Instead of forcing you to buy an off-the-shelf generic solution, Chatfuel allows you to design bots with a drag-and-drop builder, and infuse them with your own personality.
These bots can connect with customers on your website or through social media, offering them discount codes, drawing attention to your latest products, and more.
12. Albert.AI: Best for Optimizing Ad Campaigns

Pricing: Per quote
Best for: Ad optimization
Sick of ad campaigns not paying off? Give Crowdcreate a call. We’ll leverage tools like Albert.AI to really make the most out of your marketing budget. This innovative tool helps to personalize and optimize ad content at scale across various platforms, from Google Ads to Bing.
Basically, it gives you a laboratory for your ad campaigns, where you can test and tweak your strategies to tap into hidden opportunities, access overlooked demographics, and venture into new markets. By tapping into your data, and the latest marketing data, Albert AI ensures you’re spending your marketing budget where it makes the most sense.
Some of the world’s biggest companies have achieved incredible results with this platform. For instance, Harley Davidson increased their leads per month by 2,930% – just by using Albert.AI’s data-driven tools.
13. Headlime: Best for Landing Pages

Best for: Creating landing pages
At a glance, Headlime seems like just another AI content creation tool – similar to Jasper. However it actually comes packed with a bunch of unique tools that make it particularly good at one thing: creating high-converting landing pages.
Powered by the latest GPT technology from OpenAI, Headlime predicts and completes text for you as you type, suggesting everything from high-performing headlines, to engaging copy for CTA buttons. It can even convert copy into multiple tones and language.
The great thing about Headlime is that you don’t have to “copy and paste” the content you create from the app into another system. There’s a landing page builder already built-in.
14. Browse AI: Best for Scraping Web Pages

Pricing: Free plan with paid plans starting at $19 per month
Best for: Capturing competitor data
You probably already know this already if you’re a marketing consultant, or marketing expert, but the more you know about your competitors, the quicker you can leave them in the dust. The trouble is, collecting competitor intelligence, and using it to spot trends and opportunities is easier said than done – at least for most marketers.
Browse AI simplifies the process, by allowing you to train a custom bot that will source data for you. It literally browses the web at record speed and fills a spreadsheet with everything you might need to know. If you don’t want to waste time building your own bot – that’s ok too.
There are plenty of pre-built bots that can handle competitive intelligence tasks included in the platform already. With this tool, you can start upgrading your research instantly.
15. Canva AI: Best for Visual Assets

Pricing: Starting at $119 per year
Best for: Creating visual assets
Canva is one of the world’s most popular design tools for a reason. It makes it easy to create all kinds of assets, from blog images, to forms, and social media posts, even if you don’t have any graphic design skills (like me). When Canva introduced Magic Studio – it’s AI toolkit, it took the benefits of its platform to the next level.
Magic Studio can help you with everything from creating a first draft of a social media post, to designing or finding the right templates for content. You can transform content with the resize and Magic Switch tools, and reformat images based on your needs.
There’s even the option to use a range of “text to video” and “text to graphic” tools to help you create media with nothing but simple prompts.
16. Brand24: Best for Media Monitoring

Pricing: Starting at $149 per month
Best for: Protecting your brand’s reputation
Do you know what your customers really think about your company? If not, how can you convince them to trust and appreciate your brand? How do you know whether what customers say about you on other channels across the web is actually helping your reputation, or harming it?
Brand24 is an AI-powered platform that can help with all that. It scours news sites, blogs, forums, social media sites, videos, and other locations to aggregate mentions. Then, the intelligent system applies sentiment analysis strategies to identify the underlying emotions of users and reviewers, and track down common topics of conversation.
With Brand24 monitoring your brand’s reputation for you, it’s much easier to respond quickly to criticism, intervene with customer support issues, and spot ways to protect your brand.
17. 6Sense Revenue AI: Best for Account Targeting

Pricing: Per quote
Best for: B2B account targeting
In the B2B world countless companies waste way too much time focusing their sales and marketing efforts on the wrong prospects and leads. The trouble is it can be extremely difficult to identify the best opportunities out there without a little extra help.
6Sense gives you that help by the bucketload. The solution sifts through vast amounts of data from across the web, to learn more about anonymous buyers, their behavior, and the messages that resonate with them at different intent stages.
It can give you accurate predictions of buying stages and fit, and ensure you’re access the most relevant contact details when you want to reach out to leads. You can even use Sense6 to intelligently create display, video, retargeting, and social ad campaigns at stage.
This platform is by far my number one favorite AI tool for marketing consultants and experts in the B2B world – even if it can be a little expensive.
18. PhotoRoom: Best for Upgrading Marketing Images

Pricing: Free plan with premium plans starting at $69.99
Best for: Quickly altering image backgrounds
AI tools for marketing experts don’t have to be super high-tech and fancy to make a difference. Simpler tools can be extremely beneficial too – like PhotoRoom. This convenient tool makes it quick and easy to remove the background on any photo.
That’s ideal if you want to create a consistent aesthetic on your ecommerce website, or take advantage of a specific theme with your social media posts. Although this tool won’t address all of your marketing woes, it does make it a lot easier to create eye-catching assets for your brand.
Whether you want to design the perfect “meet the team” page, or create an avatar you can use in multiple locations, PhotoRoom has you covered.
19. Reply.io: Best for Rapid Email Replies

Pricing: Starting at $49 per month
Best for: Human-like email responses
Effective marketing is about more than just engaging audiences and collecting leads. You also need to regularly communicate with customers, to build rapport and push them through the sales funnel. Reply.io is one of the best tools out there for streamlining this process. The solution can instantly create contextual, personalized responses to any email message, and send them to your customers in seconds. 20. Influencity: Best for AI-Powered Influencer Marketing

Pricing: Starting at $158 per month
Best for: Optimizing influencer marketing
As one of the world’s leading influencer marketing agencies, we’ve always loved experimenting with tools that make it easier to identify, nurture, and build relationships with influencers. Influencity is one of our favorite solutions of all.

You also get access to all-in-one solutions for social listening on higher-tier paid plans, so you can monitor the exact impact your influencer strategy is having on your brand’s reputation.
21. Howler AI: Best for Outreach and PR

Pricing: Starting at $8,000 per month
Best for: Transforming PR and outreach campaigns
With it’s huge price tag, Howler AI probably isn’t the go-to tool for every company that wants to take advantage of PR and outreach to boost revenue. We actually offer more versatile and affordable solutions for that right here at Crowdcreate.
However, if you’re running a larger, enterprise-level company and you’re looking for rapid scalability, Howler AI is a great choice. It can sift through databases of journalists all over the world, finding people in your niche that can help to elevate your brand and boost awareness.
With this platform, companies not only get access to in-depth analytics, but also custom press pitches, written by an in-house team and comprehensive campaign reports. You even get tips and insights on when to follow up with journalists, so you can avoid spamming them with too many requests.

24. Piktochart: Best for Building Infographics

Pricing: Plans starting at $29 per month

Countless reports tell us that visual content increases conversions, boosts click-through rates, and enhances audience engagement. But creating high-quality visuals for your campaigns is often time-consuming and complicated.
The great thing about Piktochart is that it makes you feel like a competent graphic designer – even if you don’t have any design experience (like me). Within a few clicks, you can upload information to the platform, and the AI system will create presentations, infographics, and reports for you.

25. MarketMuse: Best for Content Strategy

Pricing: Free plan with paid plans starting at $99 per month
Best for: Marketing strategy and content planning
I’ve experimented with quite a few AI tools for marketing consultants designed to make content planning easier. There are plenty of great options out there, such as SEMRush’s ContentShake AI platform, and even ChatGPT. However, MarketMuse is still my favorite tool overall.
This platform analyzes your website for you, conducting a complete content audit, and identifying top opportunities for you to stand out in the search engines. With MarketMuse, you don’t just end up with tons of ideas on the types of content you can create.
You also get insights into which assets you should refresh or update based on previous performance and competitor research. Plus, Market Muse can help you find keywords to focus on, without you needing to use alternative platforms, like Ahrefs or SEMRush.
26. SEMRush: Best for SEO

Pricing: Starting at $139.95 per month
Best for: Search engine optimization
Even before it started experimenting with AI, SEMRush was one of my favorite marketing tools of all time. It’s one of the easiest and most powerful platforms to use if you want to boost your chances of ranking in the search engines for specific phrases and terms.
Today, the platform offers access to a wide range of AI-enhanced features. There’s an AI-powered writing assistant to help you create content and briefs for writers. Plus, you can tap into the “ContentShake” app for more content generation capabilities, and insights into potential topics to write about based on customer preferences and competitor results.

27. Axiom AI: Best for Automating Marketing Tasks

Pricing: Starting at $15 per month
Best for: Saving marketers time
There are plenty of beneficial reasons to invest in AI tools for marketing purposes. For me though, one of the best things about working with AI, is that it saves me so much time. Axiom AI is a great example of a tool that marketing professionals can use to automate more of those pesky processes that eat into the time you have for other tasks (like creating content).
Axiom can scrape data from the web for your marketing campaigns and lead generation strategies, gather data from Google trends, and even build bots for you. Whether you’re looking for ways to save time on data collection and analysis, or you just want to connect apps and create convenient workflows for your marketing team, Axiom is a great choice.
